Check in is possible from 3 pm. Our check out time is 11 am and therefore we have very little time to clean our rooms. As we usually clean the rooms ourselves, we are out and about in the house and cannot check in early.

Public parking lots:

You have the option of parking all around in the public parking lots. However, these are very expensive and you have to renew your parking time every 3 hours. From 7 pm to 9 am these parking lots are free of charge.

Underground parking garage:

Drive past our house. Turn right at the crossroads and in approx. 100m you will find the entrance to the Fürstenhof underground parking garage on the left-hand side. Here you pay 12 Euro for 24 hours.

Harbor:
You also have the option of parking at the harbor.

Parking lot incl. shuttle service:

We have rented a few parking spaces in a parking garage at the harbor. You can rent these for 20 euros per day. We will also pick you up on the day of arrival and bring you back to the parking garage on the day of departure.

 

Please use our bicycle racks in the courtyard. Please do not ride your bicycles through the building! When you are in front of our main entrance, turn right. You will find a large gate into which you can drive.

Pets are allowed for a fee of 10 euros.

Yes, our check-in machine is available to you at any time from 3 pm.

We will be available to you personally from 3 to 4 pm.

Yes, breakfast times are from 8 am to 10 am. You also have the option of booking breakfast for your stay with us at short notice.

 

 

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. We help with the room cleaning and due to the short cleaning time we do not have the possibility to store your luggage. As we are also a relatively self-sufficient hotel, we have nowhere to lock your luggage. We apologize for this.

As the name suggests, the building is a former prison. That's why we called our rooms cells.

No! We are a normal hotel. If you book a room for yourself, you will only have it for yourself. You do not have to share your room with strangers! Even in our multi-bed rooms you do not have to share your room with strangers.

You pay for the overnight stay when you check in.

Alcohol: We are not allowed to sell alcoholic drinks in our mini market, as we cannot comply with youth protection regulations. If you would like beer, wine, sparkling wine or other drinks, please contact us at reception. A price list is enclosed.

Ironing board and iron: Please ask for an ironing board or iron at reception.
Bus and train: The nearest bus stop is at the market, which is approx. 250 m away. The bus station is about a 10-minute walk away and is located next to the train station.

Bank / ATM: The nearest bank is on the market square. Here you will find the Sparkasse, Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, VR-Bank and Targobank.

Baby crib: We are happy to provide you with a baby crib. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
Visitors: Please make sure that you register visitors with us! In an emergency situation, this will have a considerable impact on the rescue operation. Please do not allow any external persons into our building, also for your own safety.

Digital: We are moving into the digital age. Due to cost savings and a lack of staff, we have digitized a lot in our concept. This means you can check in digitally, shop independently in the mini-market, open the doors with your smartphone (concierge app), place orders digitally and much more.

Charge your e-bike: We only have limited charging facilities on our farm. Please speak to us at reception about this.
E-bike rental: E-bikes are available for hire in our backyard. Scan the QR code on the bike and install the app. Or you can scan the QR code now:

Breakfast: Our breakfast times are daily from 8 am to 10 am. You can book breakfast with us on the same day.
Bicycles: You can lock your bicycles in our backyard. Our gate is usually locked by us in the evening and the backyard is monitored by camera. If the gate is already locked, you can reach the backyard through the café. You can get out through the outside door in the café, but you will have to use the main entrance to get back in. It is forbidden to bring bicycles into the room, any costs incurred as a result (e.g. handyman services) will be charged retrospectively.

Luggage storage: Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. We help with the room cleaning and due to the short cleaning time we do not have the possibility to store your luggage. As we are also a relatively self-sufficient hotel, we cannot lock your luggage anywhere. Please bear this in mind when you arrive.

Garbage: Our own indoor play park awaits families on over 3000 square meters. Here you will find lots of great play opportunities. As a guest of the Kittchen you receive a discount of 20 %.

Baltic Sea:

You will find some great beaches on our Baltic Sea. A nearby small beach is located in Wismar in the Seebad Wendorf district. Here you will also find our pier. You can reach the seaside resort of Wendorf by bus or car in no time at all. There are also larger beaches in the surrounding area, such as Hohen Wieschendorf, Boltenhagen or Kühlungsborn.

Take a boat trip and get to know our wonderful bay better. The Adler ships are available at our harbor for a round trip.

Shaving products: Razors and shaving cream are available from reception if required.
Umbrellas: Umbrellas are available at reception for a deposit of 10 euros.
Reception: Our reception is not manned at all times, as we clean the cells or do the breakfast service, for example. As a rule, however, we are in the building every day from 8 am to 6 pm.

Safe: You have the option of locking your valuables in one of the historic lockers downstairs in the foyer. Or you can use one of the larger lockers.

Keys and locking cards are available at reception for a deposit of EUR 5.

Places of interest: Wismar has many sights. One of them, the St. Marien church tower, can be found directly opposite the Kittchen. Directly behind our building you will find the Fürstenhof, which is now the district court of Wismar. A little further on you will find St. George's Church.

TV: We have a modern TV system in use. Our TV programs are currently all in German. You also have the option of using our large TVs in the foyer or café by prior arrangement.

W-LAN: We are equipped with a modern system. You will find our W-Lan access code either on the homepage on the TV or downstairs at the reception desk.
WISMARplus: The booklet is a great way to use various attractions at low cost. The booklet contains many discounts for the Hanseatic city of Wismar. You can get WISMARplus at the tourist information office (approx. 350m away, Lübsche Str. 23a, 23966 Wismar) or from us at reception. The booklet costs 12 euros. But it's well worth it. Room cleaning: In general, we always clean the cells after departure. If an explicit intermediate cleaning is required, please let us know at reception and hang out the "Please clean cell" sign before 11 am.
Toothbrush utensils: You will also find dental cleaning utensils here. Please speak to us at reception about this.
